Almost every desktop publishing software can understand and support editing / modification of HTML & HTML5 web pages. This provide an in house possibility for computer users with Basic knowledge to design or re-design their websites directly.
On the other hand, HTML and HTML5 web pages are not strong enough to provide professional and safe functionalities for such websites including connecting to Databases, Web Services or Content Management Systems (CMS). This can limit the abilities of such websites to simple presentation and data gathering purposes.
